Diana Baroni voice and Baroque flute
Rafael Guel vihuela and percussion
Tunde Jegede kora and percussion
A unique musician between two worlds: on one side Afro-Hispanic songs and dances of the old colonies, and on the other the enchanting elegance of 17th and 18th Latin American Baroque.
The charismatic Argentinian singer and flautist Diana Baroni achieves a kaleidoscopic synthesis of traditional music and Baroque practice, bringing together haunting folk traditions with infectious dances from Peru, Venezuela, Mexico, Ecuador and Mali. Diana is joined by the Mexican percussionist and guitarist Rafael Guel and Tunde Jegede, master player of the beautiful West African harp, the kora.

See Diana perform live in Toulouse:
"Diana Baroni lures those who listen to her like a siren, with her singing and her seductive way of playing the flute. She is supported by a brilliant team of guitar and percussion players, whose set of ancient and modern instruments reflects her music’s rich and strange eclectism. The whole is an ecstatic celebration of the universal power of song and dance: resist it at your peril!" BBC Music Magazine
