Let the Party begin! We are offering schools the opportunity to work with artists to create artwork for the Festival Procession and join us on Friday 27 May to parade through the streets of Bath to herald the start of Party in the City.
This year we are celebrating Latina Heights, the latin-inspired music that is one of our four central festival themes. Visual artists Edwina Bridgeman and Mel Day will be working with schools to create a Brazilian Carnival.
We are inviting schools to participate in the procession and offering subsidised workshops with inspiring visual artists to create art work for the procession.
Fees: £165 for state funded schools and £185 for all others. This covers the fee for the artist, material and admin costs. We have a limited number of places available so do get in touch as soon as possible.
